Sui, a high-performance layer-one blockchain designed for mass adoption, has officially been integrated into NEAR Intents, a powerful cross-chain coordination product developed by NEAR Protocol. This collaboration allows users to seamlessly swap over 80 different assets from 20+ chains — including NEAR, BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, DOGE, and ZEC — directly into Sui, without relying on bridges or intermediaries.

NEAR Intents introduces a new model for cross-chain interactions. Rather than using traditional smart contract workflows, users simply state their intent (such as a swap or transfer), and the system routes these requests through solvers who find the most efficient path for execution. The process feels like using a cross-chain DEX but offers a much more intuitive and streamlined experience.

For Sui users, this means instant swaps from other blockchains without the need to manage gas on multiple chains or deal with complicated interfaces. Whether it’s executing trades, OTC swaps with custom pricing, or sending redeemable gift links — the system is designed to be fast, secure, and user-centric.

Over the past month, Sui has recorded over $8.1 billion in DEX trading volume and saw its stablecoin market cap soar beyond $1 billion in June — a 180% increase since the start of the year.
