How to move funds from Solana to Sui using Phantom Wallet?
I'm using Phantom Wallet and want to move some funds from the Solana blockchain to Sui. What is the best way to do this? Also, how can I ensure I have enough SUI for gas fees during the process?

3To move funds from Solana to Sui using Phantom Wallet, the most straightforward method is to use the in-wallet cross-chain swap feature powered by a bridge like Portal Bridge, which supports direct transfers of assets like USDC or USDT between Solana and Sui with minimal fees. First, ensure Sui is enabled in Phantom by going to Settings, selecting Active Networks, and toggling Sui on, as it may be in beta or opt-in mode. Open Phantom, navigate to the Swap tab, select Solana as the source network and Sui as the destination, then choose a supported token like USDC (use USDCet for Solana-to-Sui transfers). Enter the amount you want to swap, review the quote for estimated output after fees, and confirm the transaction. Phantom charges a 0.85% fee, Portal Bridge adds about 0.3%, and you’ll need gas fees on both chains: at least 0.002 SOL on Solana (waived for mobile swaps over $10 USD) and 0.01 SUI on Sui. To ensure enough SUI for gas, check your Sui wallet balance in Phantom; if it’s low, buy SUI directly in Phantom using a card or bank transfer, or transfer SUI from an exchange to your Sui wallet address before bridging. Alternatively, use Portal Bridge’s Native Gas feature, which deducts a small amount from your bridged funds to provide SUI for gas, ideal if your Sui wallet is empty. Always verify the token and recipient address, set slippage to at least 0.5% for volatile tokens, and track the transaction in Phantom’s Recent Activity or Li.Fi Scanner. Test the process on Sui’s testnet if possible to avoid errors.
You can currently bridge USDC from Solana using the following link: https://bridge.sui.io/bridge-usdc. This will allow you to move funds from Solana to Sui efficiently. To ensure you have enough SUI for gas fees, you can try using a faucet via the following link: https://stakely.io/faucet/sui-sui. Alternatively, consider acquiring SUI from an exchange.
