What to do with SUI wallet if Google Account was compromised?

What happens to SUI wallet access if my Google account is suspended, and is there a recovery feature planned?

If your Google account is suspended and you're using it to access your Sui wallet (most likely a zkLogin wallet), you would lose the ability to authenticate and sign transactions through that specific method. Your Sui address and the assets on-chain remain secure, but the mechanism to derive the necessary ephemeral private key via Google's OIDC JWT would be inaccessible. This means you wouldn't be able to access those funds unless you had a pre-configured multi-signature setup or your wallet provider offered a specific backup recovery path. Regarding recovery features, the Sui ecosystem is actively developing solutions. While there isn't an automatic, protocol-level recovery for a suspended Google account specifically, Sui's account abstraction capabilities empower wallet providers to implement robust features like multi-party computation (MPC) wallets and social recovery mechanisms. Many wallet teams are indeed integrating these, allowing users to designate guardians or other methods to regain access to their funds in such scenarios. So, while not an inherent fix for a suspended Google account, the architectural support and wallet-level solutions are definitely in progress.

If your Google account is suspended and you can't use OAuth to authenticate, you will lose access to your wallet.
