2🔹 Option 1: Use Native USDC on Sui
Circle (the issuer of USDC) already launched native USDC on Sui in 2023.
This means you don’t need to bridge “wrapped” tokens from Ethereum.
You can simply deposit/withdraw native USDC directly on Sui via exchanges or Circle’s CCTP partners.
How to get it:
-
Buy/withdraw USDC (Sui) directly from a centralized exchange that supports Sui withdrawals (examples: KuCoin, OKX, Bybit — availability changes).
-
Or, use Circle’s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP):
Send USDC from another supported chain (e.g., Solana, Avalanche, Base, Arbitrum).
Circle will burn it on the origin chain and mint new USDC directly on Sui.
🔹 Option 2: Use a Bridge that Supports USDC → Sui
Some third-party bridges already support non-Ethereum routes:
Portal Bridge (Wormhole) → lets you send USDC from Solana, BNB Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, etc., straight to Sui.
Axelar and LayerZero → some apps use these to wrap and move stablecoins into Sui liquidity pools.
Bluefin / Cetus DEX often integrate bridging directly inside their apps for smoother UX.
🔹 Option 3: Centralized Exchange Shortcut
Deposit USDC on an exchange like Binance / KuCoin / OKX using any cheap chain (e.g., Solana or Tron).
Then withdraw directly to Sui network if that exchange supports it.
This way, you avoid Ethereum gas fees completely.
If you want USDC on Sui without touching Ethereum, you have a few options:
- Direct CEX Withdrawal
Some centralized exchanges (like KuCoin, OKX, Bybit, Gate, etc.) support USDC on Sui directly.
Deposit fiat or any crypto, trade into USDC, then withdraw straight to your Sui wallet.
- Native Sui Bridges
Use bridges that support direct routes to Sui without passing through Ethereum (e.g., Wormhole, Axelar, Celer, or Bluefin’s integrations if they’ve enabled direct stablecoin bridging).
This lets you move USDC from chains like Solana, Avalanche, or Polygon into Sui more cheaply.
- Swap from a Stablecoin Already on Sui
If you can get USDT or another stablecoin onto Sui (via CEX or bridge), you can then swap it into USDC using a Sui-native DEX like Cetus or Turbos Finance.
- Fiat On-Ramp
Services like MoonPay, Transak, or Ramp may let you buy USDC directly on Sui with a card or bank transfer, bypassing Ethereum entirely.
So the fastest route depends on what you already have:
If you’re on a CEX → withdraw directly to Sui.
If you’re on another chain → bridge with Wormhole/Axelar to Sui.
If you’re starting from fiat → use an on-ramp that supports Sui.
