How long before you can unstake SUI from your wallet?
I've just staked my SUI on the SUI wallet and I'm wondering how long I have to wait before I can unstake it. Could you explain the timeframe or requirements for unstaking SUI coins?

5If you've just staked your SUI tokens, you’ll need to wait at least one epoch before you can unstake them. An epoch on the Sui blockchain typically lasts about 24 hours , though the exact duration can vary slightly depending on network activity and other factors.
This waiting period ensures that the staking process remains stable and prevents frequent or abusive unstaking. Once the epoch has passed, you can initiate the unstaking process, and your tokens will typically be available shortly after that.
It’s worth noting that while some platforms or wallets might allow instant unstaking under specific conditions, the general rule for SUI is the one-epoch waiting period. Always check the current epoch status or consult the official Sui documentation if you’re unsure about timing.
When you unstake SUI, your request is processed at the start of the next epoch. Each epoch on Sui lasts about 24 hours. So, if you unstake now, your SUI will become available for withdrawal after the current epoch ends and the next full epoch has completed. This usually means a waiting period of roughly 24 to 48 hours, depending on when you initiate the unstake during the current epoch.
If you’ve just staked, you’ll need to wait at least one epoch before you can unstake.
When you stake your SUI using the Sui Wallet, you can only unstake your tokens at the end of an epoch, which lasts roughly 24 hours. Once the current epoch ends, you can initiate an unstake transaction, and your tokens will become available for withdrawal in the next epoch. There’s no fixed lock-up period beyond this daily cycle, so you can technically unstake anytime, but the actual release happens after the epoch transition completes. To unstake, go to your Sui Wallet’s “Stake & Earn” section, select your validator, and choose “Unstake.”
