How to retrieve private keys in Sui wallet?

I'm trying to access my addresses in the Sui wallet but can't find an option to reveal my private key under the one secret passphrase. I didn't create my wallet with Google and only see an option to update my password. Could you guide me on how to get my private key?

You can access your private key by opening your wallet, clicking on the wallet address menu, and selecting 'Manage'. You will find the option to export your private key there.

Hey there! Sui Wallet, like most non-custodial wallets, doesn't typically show individual private keys. What you're likely looking for is your seed phrase (that 12 or 24-word recovery phrase) you received when you first set up the wallet. This seed phrase is what generates all your addresses and their private keys. You can usually find an option like 'Reveal Seed Phrase' or 'Backup Wallet' within the wallet's settings, often under a 'Security & Privacy' section. The 'update password' option you mentioned is just for unlocking the wallet app on your device, not for revealing your recovery phrase. If you reveal it, make sure to write it down physically and keep it absolutely secure, as anyone with that phrase has full access to your funds. If you never saved it when you created the wallet, unfortunately, it might not be recoverable now.

If you're using private keys from another device, some formats might not be supported by the Sui wallet. In such cases, it's recommended to import using the passphrase.
