Sui is actively working on supporting cross-chain NFTs and composable assets. A key development is Ika’s mainnet, which uses a zero-trust multiparty computation network allowing Sui smart contracts to control assets across multiple blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum without relying on bridges or trusted parties. This is enabled by decentralized wallets (dWallets) that manage secure, programmable signing. Additionally, projects like DegenHive are building composable NFTs on Sui, allowing NFTs to be used flexibly across different apps. Cross-chain interoperability is becoming a key theme in Web3, especially as users and developers look for ways to move NFTs and assets across ecosystems while keeping their utility. Does Sui have plans to support cross-chain NFTs or composable assets that can interact seamlessly with applications on other chains? For example, could we see NFTs minted on Sui being usable in Ethereum or Solana ecosystems, or assets from other chains gaining additional functionality through Sui’s object-centric model? How might Sui’s unique architecture give it an edge in enabling true composability across multiple networks?
