Trouble connecting Ledger to Sui Wallet on Brave browser

Hey, I'm having trouble with my Sui wallet on my Brave browser. When I try to transfer some funds to swap on an exchange, it asks me to connect my Ledger and confirm. Even though I've done that, it keeps saying it's not connected. I've updated everything, but I still can't access my funds. How do I fix this connectivity issue?

Hey, that's super frustrating! A common fix for Ledger on Brave is to first make sure Ledger Live is completely closed – it often clashes. Then, ensure your Ledger is unlocked and has the Sui app open before you even start the transaction in your Brave wallet. Sometimes, simply replugging the Ledger or restarting Brave can refresh the connection. Also, occasionally Brave's USB/WebHID permissions can get quirky. If all else fails, trying a different USB port or clearing your browser cache might help, but usually, it's the Ledger Live or app-not-open timing.

Oh man, that's super frustrating! Ledger connectivity issues can be tricky, especially with Brave. First, make sure Ledger Live is completely closed – it often interferes. Next, try temporarily disabling Brave Shields for the site you're using (the exchange or even the wallet popup) as they can sometimes block WebUSB. Also, double-check your USB cable and port, and ensure the Sui app is open on your Ledger before you try to connect. If those don't work, clearing your browser cache/cookies or even trying an Incognito window can help rule out browser-specific issues. Sometimes you might even need to remove and re-add your Ledger account within your Sui Wallet extension to re-establish the connection (your funds are safe on the Ledger itself).

It sounds like there might be an issue with the way your Ledger device is set up in the wallet. Try this: Log out of your wallet, go to the settings, click on 'Security', and then 'Lock Wallet'. After you're logged out, click on 'More Options' and then 'Set Up Ledger.' If there's no option to log out, what you actually need to do is reset the wallet. Open Sui wallet, go to Settings, then More Options, click 'Reset Wallet', and import the ledger wallet again.
