Sui separates data availability (Narwhal) from ordering (Bullshark), using a DAG for parallel transaction finality. Unlike Ethereum’s linear block proposals or Solana’s leader-based ordering, this lets Sui achieve high throughput and low latency without relying on a single sequencer.
